Pony Farm’s Horse and Pony Leasing Program

Pony Farm is pleased to offer occasional horses or ponies for a “School Year” lease to qualified families. For a small monthly fee, we allow families to take a suitable horse ‘home for the winter’. During the summer months, we need nearly 65 horses and ponies to adequately mount our campers and insure a ‘horse of your own’ experience. During the rest of the year when our program is not quite so active, we need to reduce to approximately 40 horses. We do not want to sell our ‘trusty treasures’ but we also do not want to feed them and not have them have a job.

We have arranged for excellent insurance to cover the liability for the farm, the leasing family and the barn in which the horse gets boarded. We lease some of our best horses and ponies as they are not used as much during the school year. Please speak to the directors if you might be interested in leasing at the end of summer camp. We can talk specifics and make sure it is a 'win win’ for everyone... the rider, the family, the farm and the horse, of course!
