TRAINING SESSION FOR ASSISTANT INSTRUCTORS
(individuals who help the Instructor with the beginner lessons)...

DATES: SATURDAY MARCH 22ND FROM 10 to 1PM

Come dressed in your riding clothes and with a bag lunch. We will be riding and do lots of hands on learning to get ready to help new riders share our life long love of horses and ponies. Children and adults are welcome to participate. Call the office to find out if you are ready to do this important program at Pony Farm!!!


PONY FARM SPRING LESSON PROGRAMS

PLEASE NOTE: PONY FARM LESSONS WILL BE CANCELLED DURING THE WEEK OF APRIL SCHOOL VACATION
Sign up for one or more of these programs (click here for a description of the levels): Peanuts on Ponies (ages 3 to 6); After school lessons for ages 6 to 18; Morning and Evening lessons for Adults. FATHER DAUGHTER WEEKEND

DATES: APRIL 4TH TO THE 6TH
ARRIVAL TIME BETWEEN 5 & 8pm on Friday and DEPARTURE FOLLOWING LATE LUNCH on Sunday.

COST: $300 per person, includes 2 nights, all meals and activities except therapeutic massage or Reiki (30 to 90 minute sessions.) For a third person, the fee is $200.

Payable to Pony Farm.

Welcome in springtime together... The weather is getting great, the riding trails are open and the rings are inviting. Whether you are an avid rider or carriage driver, want to go on one peaceful trail ride and then read the paper, or want to try everything the area has to offer in hiking, biking, running or vaulting, let us give you a terrific time with your daughter... Bring Grand Dad along too! Great food, fun obstacle course, bonfire and marshmallows. Plenty of time to do nothing too! It won’t be very long before ‘she won’t want to go away with dear old Dad’. Seize the moment and join us for a great time.


ADULT “RIDING GET AWAY” SPRING WEEKEND

DATES: APRIL 11TH TO THE 13TH
ARRIVAL is between 5 & 8PM on Friday and after late lunch on Sunday.
COST: $400 ALL INCLUSIVE LODGING AND PROGRAM.
However, we are just starting these weekends. So we have a deal for you. If you bring one friend with you, you get a free hour long Therapeutic Massage or Reiki session on us. If you bring 2 friends, you get 25% off your registration. If you bring 3 friends you get 50% off and with 4 friends, you get to come for free!!! So, bring a gang.
Therapeutic Massage and Reiki optional extras.

This weekend is designed for single people or couples. You will surely have delicious food, great riding or carriage driving and a terrific group to enjoy getting back to the olden days on the farm with all the modern luxuries like hot water, comfy beds and a roaring fire. Participants may ride and drive as little or as much as they wish. Come take hard, detailed riding, driving, jumping or dressage lessons or enjoy meandering down the dirt roads and woods trails in a Western saddle. Lots of space to bike, walk or hike. We offer something for everyone amid a beautiful working farm complete with farm animals, lovely gardens and over 40 safe, sane horses to chose from. Join us for one of our series of adult weekends.

SPRING FLING FAMILY FARM WEEKEND

DATES: MAY 2ND TO MAY 4TH
ARRIVAL TIME between 5 & 8pm on Friday and DEPARTURE following late lunch on Sunday.
COST: $300 per person, includes 2 night stays, all meals and activities except therapeutic massage or Reiki (30 to 90 minute sessions). For a third person, the fee is $200.

Help us welcome in the new farm animals to our Friendly Barn Yard. You get to name some of the babies and surely get to play with all the rest. Also, ride or drive or vault to your heart’s content. The hiking and riding trails are gorgeous at this time of year and the bugs are gone. You can even help plant the pumpkins and sunflowers that will be spectacular in the fall for picking for the Family Foliage Weekend. Enjoy horses, ponies, minis, goats, a donkey, chickens, bunnies, guinea pigs and some more surprises along with all the great food and fun!

P.S. This is the perfect time for new campers to give camp a try with a mom or dad by your side. It makes the perfect transition into Sleep Away camp on your own!


HOW TO START OR ‘GIVE A SHOT IN THE ARM’ TO YOUR OWN HORSE BUSINESS:

DATES: May 16th to the 18th.
ARRIVAL TIME by 4pm with Registration and evening program and Departure after lunch on Sunday. Limited scholarships available.

Designed for those who are thinking about starting a horse business of any kind or have been in business for a year or two and its not going so well. Call the office today to see how you can get a reduced tuition through a brand new scholarship program!!! It‘s a great deal to bring a team of people to help you get started. Therapeutic Massage or ‘Reiki available at extra fee. Let us help you get started on the right foot or let us help you gain new information to help you run your business better. Lots of presentations by seasoned horse professionals on a variety of topics. Everything from Mission and Vision statements, to branding, PR and marketing, to business contracts that work for boarding, lessons, sales and leasing. Lots about staffing and organizational development. Small group discussions to gain a circle of support to individualized attention. Leave with a personal development plan for your business and a notebook chock full of great information to help you succeed!

PONY FARM SHOWING CLINIC AND SCHOOLING HORSE SHOW

DATE: CLINIC, Friday evening MAY 16TH at 6PM with presentation “Showing from a Judge’s Stand”. A special practice and information session for parents/spouses to learn some of the “fine art” of being helpful to your child or partner at a show. All questions answered with a smile.

Saturday MAY 17th
All day clinic everything from what to wear to a show, to types of classes, to preparing your horse and tack, to actually practicing for different types of classes. Have fun while learning to show.

SCHOOLING SHOW

Sunday May 18th
Starting at 9AM

Actually participate in a horse show the judge will give general comments to the riders at the end of each class so that riders, parents and coaches can learn more. “A fun day of friendly competition.” Call for more details. Horses available for rent for the clinic and show. Again, a great way for camp families to get involved during the ‘off season’ of camp.


PONY FARM LESSON HORSE SHOW

DATE: SATURDAY MAY 31ST (THIS IS NOT MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!)
COST: INCLUDED IN THE FEE FOR THE SPRING LESSON SERIES DESIGNED FOR ALL RIDERS, ADULTS AND CHILDREN, WHO HAVE PARTICIPATED IN THE PONY FARM SPRING LESSON PROGRAM.

Each student is grouped according to age and ability. A great judge who is fun, funny and encouraging; helpful show staff; fun announcing; spectator seating and a great food truck, not to mention trophies and ribbons. Make this a terrific day of family fun for all ages. Small animal barn and swing set/play area open for visits!

ADULT SPECIALTY RIDING & DRIVING CAMP

“Let’s not let the kids have all the fun!”

DATES: AUGUST 27TH TO SEPTEMBER 1ST
LEAVE WORK EARLY AND TAKE A LONG WEEKEND TO ENJOY RIDING AND THE COMING OF FALL. ADULTS ONLY.

ARRIVAL TIME is between 5 & 8pm on Wednesday evening and DEPARTURE TIME is following a late lunch on Monday, Labor Day.

COST: $450
It Includes all riding, driving, trail riding and other activities, plus beverages and lunch. Payable to PF. Lodging on site great food, comfy beds, private but shared bathrooms, fabulous fire place $75 a night for lodging, breakfast and dinner except for one dinner out in Peterborough with whole group Therapeutic massage and Reiki available for an additional fee.

Let us give you the riding and horse experience of your life time. Includes lots of lessons dressage, Centered Riding, Balance seat, Western or Natural Horsemanship. Carriage driving lessons are also a possibility. Drive or ride our super horses, safe, fun, easy and well trained. Excellent, encouraging and friendly instructors. Down time too to sit on the porch and rock, watching the horses graze. Small farm animal barns ready for your visit. All Day Picnic ride or silly horse show at end are also possibilities. Let us end your summer with a bang.

If you are interested in the Pony Farm riding lesson program from children ages 3 up to adults, please join us for this Open House to meet the staff, see the riding facility, get an introduction to all the horses and see all that you can learn here at the farm. Our motto is “Have fun while learning to ride safely!” We have horses, teachers and programs for all ages and levels. Come let us find the right lesson for you and let us welcome you into the farm family here at Pony Farm. Remember it is “Not just for kids anymore.”!!! FAMILY FALL FOLIAGE WEEKEND:

Oct. 5th to the 7th 2007 Arrival time between 5 and 8Pm. Departure time anytime after late lunch.

Cost: $300 per person, includes 2 nights, all meals and activities except massage. Third person, fee is $200. Payable to Pony Farm

Riding galore in the ring or on the trails in the foliage. English or Western Lessons for beginners up to those wishing to jump with certified, encouraging instructors & safe, gentle, well trained horses. Carriage driving with minis, singles and pairs.lessons or ride down the road. Vaulting (Gymnastics on the moving horse) Galore, try it together or one at a time. Small Farm Animals galore for your enjoyment. Fresh pressed apple cider and apple or pumpkin picking at a local farm. Hike, Shop, Sleep, Read or Sit in the Rocking Chairs on the front porch for those not wanting to ride. Charades, Card games and Bonfire at night with S’mores Therapeutic Massage and Reiki available at extra cost. Half hour to 90 minute sessions available.


MOTHER DAUGHTER SPECIALTY WEEKENDS:

Two choices, Dec. 5th to the 7th or Dec. 12th to the 14th. Arrival time is between 5 & 8PM. Departure after late lunch on Sunday.

Cost: $300 per person, includes 2 nights, all meals. For second daughter or grandmothers, $200 per person all inclusive. Optional extra fee for therapeutic massage or Reiki (30 to 90 minute sessions)

Join us for a fabulous time.Celebrate the coming holidays without the commercialism and hassle. Enjoy and cherish the time honored bond between Mother and Daughter, whether you are 6 years old or 86! Take the time to enjoy being together doing simple things.

Ride in the ring or on the trail, in a lesson or with a trail guide. Western or English saddles available with gentle, well trained, safe horses. Indoor arena for inclement weather!

Drive the minis or the carriage horses in the ring through a cones course or down the road to enjoy the countryside. Keep your fingers crossed for snow and let’s do some sleighing just like in the olden days.

Sing holiday songs and roast marshmallows around a Bonfire Hit all the local craft and specialty shops to get those one of a kind gifts that are not available in the malls.

Make cookies for the Fireside Mother Daughter Silver Tea and get your keepsake picture taken to remember your special time together! Leave feeling well rested, re-energized and eager for the Holidays to begin!
